Minecraft Mondays Website Visual

Minecraft Mondays is a virtual program where children can explore math, engineering and problem solving skills in the world of Minecraft. Participants can log in to our BGC world every Monday evening to build, explore and complete challenges with their friends! Two versions of the program are being offered.

Ages 5-12

Children registered in our Before and After School Care can access Minecraft Mondays from home 6:30 – 8:30pm Mondays. To participate your child will need a computer with Minecraft BEDROCK edition installed. If you do not own Minecraft or have technology capable of running the game but would like to participate, please let us know at registration.

To register, fill out the Minecraft Monday Registration form by clicking the link below (ages 5-12 only). Please fill out a form for each individual child you are registering. Any questions can be directed to kassidy@scbgc.com.

Ages 12+

Youth are welcome to access Minecraft Mondays from home or one of the computers at our Youth Hub (note there is a limited number) 4:00 – 6:00pm Mondays. To participate your child will need a computer with Minecraft BEDROCK edition installed. If you do not own Minecraft or have technology capable of running the game but would like to participate, please let us know at registration.

To register contact kassidy@scbgc.com (ages 12+ only).

Additional Registration Information:

Only those registered will be allowed to participate, the program itself is free of charge, however, a device and Minecraft BEDROCK edition (NOT java edition) are required to join the program. If requiring support to access the necessary technology, or you have questions in general, please reach out to kassidy@scbgc.com.

Any participant with a username that does not match the registration list will be removed from the program. If a child changes their username or is accessing the program from a different account the parent/guardian will need to update us with their child's new username as otherwise they will not be able to access the program. Updates can be made to kassidy@scbgc.com.

An information email including how to log on to the SCBGC server will be sent out closer to our start date. This information will be sent to the email(s) provided during registration.

Lastly, this is a new program for us, which we are very excited to deliver. However, since this is our first time running Minecraft Mondays and this program requires technology we haven't worked with before there may be a learning curve and adjustments required to ensure the program runs smoothly. Please be patient with us as we navigate the first weeks and sort out any mishaps that may arise.

Please note any participant not abiding by the Boys & Girls Club standards of conduct will be removed from this virtual program and not allowed to participate in Minecraft Mondays. This includes but is not limited to inappropriate language or visuals, cyber bullying, destruction of other's Minecraft creations, etc.
